How to Delete a Flow
Flows can be unpublished, archived, and deleted. In this article, we will explain the difference between these three options.
Unpublished
Unpublished flows will appear as Draft. Draft flows can be edited on the builder, and you can easily publish them again by clicking on the 'Publish' button. Flows that are on draft will not trigger for your users.
Archived
Archived flows cannot be edited on the builder. To do so, you would need to unarchive them.
To archive a flow, you need to click on the three-dot menu and click on the "Archive" option. You can also archive several flows at once by selecting them.
Deleted
Only archived flows can be deleted.
To delete a flow, go to the Archive Status and click on the three-dot menu on the right of the flow. Then, click on the 'Delete' button.
A pop-up will show up so you can confirm that you want to delete the flow. Please note that once this action is done, the flow can't be recovered.
Deleting a step in Flows
To delete a step in your Flow, all you have to do is go to the Userpilot Web App > Menu Bar > Engagement Layer > Flows > Choose the flow that has the step you want to delete > Edit in builder > Click on the step you want to delete (Modal, slide-out, Tooltip, Driven Action) > Click on the Trash icon next to the step.
Note: Only users with 'Account Owner' and 'Admin' Roles can delete flows.
